Browsing Patent
When you log into Renovatio, you will be guided to the main screen (Listing).
On the top menu, you can select My Feed for your on-going negotiations, Listing to view all listed patents on Renovatio, or Alerts to view or set your custom alerts.
You can view the individual listing by clicking the listing ID or invention title. You can also apply filters from the left of the screen. Keyword searches will search the listing's description and AI summary as well as the application benefits and examples.
As a licensee, you are able to read the brief description and AI summary of the invention. If you click on the front page view of the patent, a separate window will open to show you the entire patent document (all pages).
If you have questions about the listed patent, you can click on MESSAGE SELLER button which takes you to the dynamic page called Timeline.
You can chat with the patent holder on this screen. You see the Dynamic Task List on the right, but everything is deactivated since you have not started the negotiation yet. Go ahead and send your questions to the patent holder. (Please do not click on the START NEGOTIATION button until you are ready to negotiate licensing terms.)
Custom Alerts
You can set your own search criteria with Renovatio, and we will notify you if any of our "newly added listings" match what you are looking for.
Choose ALERTS from the top menu.
Select Listing Type, Country and Keywords. Give the alert a name and Set Alert. That's it.
Remember, fields (listing type, country and keyword) are all bound as "AND". If you have multiple keywords, you can choose OR or AND.
My Starred Listings
If you like to save certain listings as you are browsing, you can click on the STAR icon on the listing screen or individual listing screen. From the listing screen, you can click on My Starred Listings, and Renovatio will show you only the starred listings you selected.
Note: All listings are live data, so some of your starred listings may become contracted with another licensee, so don't wait to contact the patent holder or start the negotiation.
