Registration Process

Registration process with Renovatio is very easy.  From iXP Connect's website, click Register. A new browser window with our registration page should open for you.

STEP 1  Choose from 2 types of licensors (corporate or individual), a licensee, or a job seeking SME.  Registration fields will change according to your profile selection. 

DBA stands for "doing business as". If you are an individual, type "self" or "individual". Otherwise, use official company name including the proper endings like; Inc., LLC, Corporation, K.K., etc.  This company DBA field will be used in the actual licensing agreement. 

Once you complete the registration form, click NEXT button at the end of the form, and you're done. 

STEP 2  Renovatio will send you an email to verify the registered email address.

After the email verification is completed, log back into Renovatio. You will be guided to upload your ID (driver's license/state issued ID or scanned copy of your business card - please read up on what you need to register in General Settings.

STEP 3  After you upload your ID credentials, iXP Connect's team will review your registration request.  Once the review is complete and you are authorized, you can log into Renovatio. 

Forgot Your Password?

If you need to reset your password, enter your registered email address in the login box, then click FORGOT PASSWORD.  

Check your email inbox (or spam/junk folder as our emails sometimes end up there), and follow the password reset instructions.

Listing Your Patent

Here is how to list your patent for licensing or sale. Log into Renovatio, and your screen will look like this.

Portfolio shows your Listed patents (if any), List and Todo's. 

My Feed shows you current pre-negotiation chats or on-going negotiations.

Listing takes you to all listed patents on Renovatio.

Alert takes you to alert setting screen.

From Portfolio, click LIST. You can select manually enter patent or upload batch file.  Select Manually Enter Patent by clicking +List Patent.

Fill in your patent number (example: US10855240B2), invention title, patent expiration date, country of patent grant, then select either license or sale.  Choose Exclusive or Non-Exclusive as a license type. If your patent is for sale, select Exclusive here.  Finally, type or copy your patent's abstract in the comment section.  You can also edit your own comments about your patent, but please do not use expressions like "best ...", "only solution", or your personal contact information.  All submitted information will be reviewed by iXP connect before being published on Renovatio.

As for the Patent Expiration Date, if you are uncertain about the exact date, you may use Google Patents, Espacenet/WIPO or check with your patent attorney.  This is an important as the information is used to calculate the maximum allowed licensing term on our system.

Once the form is filled, scroll all the way down, and click SAVE. That's it. your patent will be published on Renovatio after we review the information.  

De-Listing Your Patent

CAUTION: If your listed patent is already in the negotiation with a potential licensee, you are NOT allowed to de-list the patent until the negotiation is complete (successfully or not).

Portfolio>Listed All your listed patents will be shown on screen. You can click Edit icon to update some information, Delete (trash can icon), or Log icon to see any messages for that listing.  Click the Delete/trash can icon, and you should see the patent content page.

Once you verify the patent content to be de-listed from Renovatio, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click DELETE

Deactivate Your Account

If you need to deactivate your account, please contact iXP Connect via email. Please note that your account cannot be deactivated if your account is involved in any active licensing/sale negotiation.
